c.20th century Belgian oil painting of an autumnal forest scene with a lake in a decorative gesso frame.
Measurements in frame: 36 × 30cm. Depth: 5cm.
Nicely painted with an aged varnish causing some discolouration. The board is in two pieces, glued down the centre which is an old repair. There is an old wax stamp on the reverse.
The frame has a beautiful delicate leaf motif, and has lost several sections of moulding most noticeably in the top-right corner and along the bottom edges.
