Nicely painted pair of ships at sea, c. 20th century Belgian oil on canvas in a highly decorative gesso frame.
Measurements in frame: 46.5 × 38.5cm. Depth: 6.5cm.
Two small holes and a small tear on the lower left side of the painting, to the left of the smaller ship.
The frame has a very beautiful ornate leaf design, with moulding missing on the bottom and top right corners with some damage along the edges.
Signed by the artist but partially blocked by the frame.
